New Year’s resolutions

I hereby resolve to:

1. Actually do some practise and take a lesson.

2. Get some new golf clothes.

3. Do less emailing so I have more time to practise?

4. Not talk on my mobile phone when playing a round — or in the bathroom.

5. Never pull away from the petrol pump with the hose still in the tank so as not to be late for a tee time.

6. Try and drive straighter and not worry anymore about distance.

7. Watch more golf on television.

8. Keep my opinions to myself while playing with new partners.

9. Get two friends to START smoking so I feel less guilty.

10. Play harder, work less.

11. Wear something other than a golf shirt.

12. Stop repeating myself.

13. Wear something other than a golf shirt.

14. Stop procrastinating.

15. Enjoy the sweeter side of life.

16. Gain some weight and be a grumpy old fart.

17. Read something this year… other than golf magazines.

18. Drive myself to the fitness centre — because walking there is a pain.

19. Stop leaving my dirty golf shirts and trousers in the middle of the floor.

20. Kick the caffeine habit — at least to the 3rd hole.
