The Brasiers, briefly

In 1929, Brett's uncle Douglas Brasier became one of the first British PGA professionals to take the trade abroad, arriving in Sweden to design some thirty golf courses over six decades — work that saw him inducted into Sweden's Golf Hall of Fame in 2024. Brett has spent the decades since coaching across nine countries and four PGAs — everywhere from Slovakia to Singapore — before settling into the writing that now defines the family's public voice. Brett's son Michael managed golf clubs across three continents until 2021, and now owns Nahm Restaurant and Bar on Koh Samui.
