Who’s going to win the Masters early tomorrow morning? Rest assured the planets will be aligned for the winner for this is what it will take to win arguably golf’s most treasured of tournaments. A clear head is required to concentrate on the shots and putts that will allow you to wear that coveted green jacket.

No lingering thoughts on arguments with your wife or girlfriend will do you any good whilst standing over a fast downhill five-footer or delicate pitch over a bunker from a tight lie. We are all human and personal problems will always pop up — professional golfers are no different.

Out of Bounds: Spare a thought for the poor African footballer who excitedly said during an interview that he would like to thank his wife — and girlfriend — which he immediately tried to correct. Whoops!
